I had been given sets in the past as gifts (not of the quality I wanted!), and wanted to invest in a good set of pots and pans. I knew t-fal made excellent cookware, so I spent the extra money on them. They are gorgeous, but definitely non-stick (which I should have noticed- my fault!). They are consequently a PAIN to clean! And though it comes with four pots, they are all tiny. The largest- the dutch oven- is actually narrower than your average stock pot, though slightly taller- no large quantities of stews or soups, let alone steaming more than one artichoke at a time! Because they are stainless steel, they start looking used pretty much as soon as you get them wet. All in all, I would not get them again.

I loved the cookware when I first purhcased the set. However, I became disappointed after owning it for a short period of time. I have now used the cookware for three months and the red color on the outside is starting to come off. I have never used harsh cleaners on the cookware, nor have I ever put it through the dishwasher, so the peeling enamel surprises me. My main reason for purchasing this set was the color, therefore, the fact that the color is peeling off would prevent me from making future purchases from this manufacturer.
