Wonderful Sauce Pot October 28, 2008
I was looking for a large pot to make sauce in - wanted a good one that would not stick and was larger than 8 Qt that came with my pot set. This one is wonderful. I can do mashed potatoes and pasta in it too and easily drain with the locking lid. I LOVE it. The handles on the side and top stay cool - a great bonus!

We can't fill this pot up and our family likes to eat!
It's big enough to never need an extra pot on the stove. This one does it all by itself.

I have used the pot to boil some shrimp & potatoes & it worked great! I love the cool integrated strainer top. I imagine I will use it for pasta soon. Washes brillantly. Easy.

This is a great item. Cleans easily. Good size for use on the stove. Be aware that the lid does have holes in it for pouring - this is a great feature, but for some cooking it might not be ideal. For us, it is great. It also has glass in the lid, so you can watch your food simmer.

I looked long an hard for a quality stock pot and this is the one. The locking lid is a great feature which allows you to easily drain pasta or potatoes. It would be nice if the vent/drain holes were able to be closed but this is a minor point. Teh post is well constructed and very substantial without being super heavy. Cleanup is a breeze and the non-stick coating appears to be extremely durable. I have other Circulon and Calphalon cookware and I think that this is by far the best item in my aresenal.
