 Excellent pans! June 17, 2008
I had been wanting to get a non-stick skillet for as long as I can remember and this two-pack does the trick. They are great and I can't believe it took me this long to fulfill this need. And the price was an excellent value. I would highly recommend this product. No more food sticking in the pan.

I love these pans. I don't even mind that I can't put them in the dishwasher because they wipe clean so easily just with a soapy washcloth. I was pleasantly surprised that the handles stayed cool. This is first time I've splurged to buy a name brand non-stick pan, and I'm glad I did. I used to buy the cheap ones at Wal-mart, but they warped and scratched bad very quickly. The non-stick on these work so well it's so much easier to make omelettes and so many other things. I had no idea there would be such a big difference in the performance of the non-stick surface. I hope to have these for many years... we'll see.

Only few months, love them so far, hope the surface lasts longer than Calphalon 2 yr olds these are replacing!

We have quite a few Calphalon non-stick pans and really like them alot. I purchased this set about 5 months ago and up until now I would have said wow 5 stars but now everything is starting to stick :( We do take care of the pans and do not use anything metal or damaging to the surface. Since the price is really good, I would have considered simply replacing these periodically knowing they are somewhat disposable IF they had lasted at least 12 months but sticking at 5 months is pretty much a deal breaker for me. We do use these everyday so your mileage may vary.

Are you really reading these reviews and wondering if you should take advantage of this deal? Fifty bucks for two Calphalon skillets? What are you waiting for! These skillets are *not* made in China like some of the other "cheaper" Calphalon lines, they are made in Toledo like the Calphalon One series... The weigh a ton, the handles feel as if they would never come loose, and they cook very very well. There's no need to scrub these when you're done... running water will rinse whatever food, grease, etc. right off of them!
Some cons - I was expecting, with a lifetime warranty, that I would be able to throw this thing around and just send it back if it ever broke, right? Well, Calphalon gives you a long list of things you can't do to this - using non-stick cooking spray, metal utensils, put it in a dishwasher, stack them on top of eachother (what - stacking two pots on top of each other will void the warranty? Come on!), etc. After I bought my cookware set if feels like I have a newborn in the house.
But this is great quality Calphalon cookware at unbeatable prices at Amazon.com!
