Terrific nonstick frying pan November 23, 2008 I have the entire Cuisinart Chef's Classic stainless steel series but I needed some nonstick cookware for eggs and pancakes.
It does exactlly what it says and it's nonstick.
I'd highly recommend this product.
Cuisinart Chef's Classuc Non-stick Pan September 14, 2008 It's hard to rave about a frying pan, but this one is exactly what you'd want it to be. Nothing sticks to it, it's easy to clean, and it cooks evenly and perfectly every time. We use it mostly for omelets, and it satisfies us every time.
Nonstick finish not in it for the long haul August 11, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Have owned this pan for about five years, and really liked it at first. I'd hoped it would last a very long time, given the new-formula, supposedly sturdy, nonstick finish, as well as its strong stainless steel clad construction. But the nonstick surface has been progressively peeling off around the rivets for the past couple of years, not anywhere we use utensils. It's just plain surface failure, and we don't want it in our food. The degradation of the nonstick surface is all the more disappointing because this pan seems otherwise to have everything else going for it.
Solid Pan June 4, 2008 Had the pan for several weeks and we are very pleased with its style, performance, and build.
Uh-Oh a problem April 5, 2008 I ordered this skillet for frying eggs in the mornings. I needed stainless steel as my hard anodized pan left scratches on my ceramic cooktop. This skillet is just super! Very hard surface that is as smooth as glass. Afterthought (one month after first post) - Uh-Oh!! After using this skillet occasionally over the last month, I now see a place on the handle where the shiny silver coating has chipped off. Yes !! Coating !! Underneath this shiny coating you will find dull black metal. Now, I am very careful with my Cuisinart pans. The others in this series have handles that seem to be made of solid stainless. However, this one evidently is not. I contacted Cuisinart by phone. They would not let me ask anyone about the handle - if it was faulty for chipping. Their answer to me was (paraphrased) "Mail it in at your expense and we will then decide if we will compensate you." Not a big deal, I guess, but be very careful with this skillet or your handle may also chip.
