4 out of 5 stars Love it!   November 14, 2008
I've had this skillet about 3 months. {I got it to replace a similar Farberware one that I had loved. After 10 years, it suddenly went from non-stick to ever-stick.} I use this for one-dish meals, stir-fry, frying 2-5 lbs of ground beef to freeze, and many other things. I probably use it several times a week. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that it could really use a helper handle. It works to use a pot holder on the lip opposite the handle to transfer the skillet from the stove to the table. But,if I need to transfer the contents into something else, it's better to use a measuring cup to transfer rather than trying to pour. It worked great tonight for making meatballs - no sticking at all. I am very happy with the finish. I am careful not to heat it dry - I either use a little bit of oil, or some water that I dump when I'm ready to use a nice hot skillet. At first, I was nervous about the glass lid, but I really like it after all. I shopped around for several months last summer before I decided on this skillet. I'm so glad I settled on this one!

5 out of 5 stars Awesome pan!   October 27, 2008
I love this pan! I was worried the handle would be too heavy, as the other reviews suggested, but I did not find that to be the case. The pan cooks well, is easy to clean, and the fact that it comes with a cover is awesome! I generally like this brand of pots and pans, and this particular pan does not disappoint! I highly recommend it!

We use it all the time. Yes, we'd purchase it again if it was ever necessary.

5 out of 5 stars easy use and cleaning   July 7, 2008
This product works as you expect it to. After looking at the display of the Elite cookware set @ Linen and Things, I purchased this skillet and have been very happy with cooking and cleaning with this skillet. I use a gas stove and tilting handle does not happen.

3 out of 5 stars Good but not balanced well   May 18, 2008

This is a good skillet, as long as you only cook with the lid on. If you take the lid off, the pan may fall towards the handle, because the handle is so heavy. I've lost food and burned myself twice this way (plus ruined a pair of jeans).

I still use it, because it's a good pan, but if I had to buy another one I would choose a model with a lighter handle.
