Crafted of hard-anodized aluminum for excellent heat conductivity as well as long-lasting durability, the interior surface offers a double nonstick coating for easy cooking and cleanup. The generous shape also has plenty of surface area to spread out meat or vegetables, and the rounded sides allow utensils to slide right in. Riveted stainless-steel side handles stay cool on the stovetop and are ergonomically contoured. To seal in moisture, nutrients, and flavor, the stainless-steel lid has a slightly domed shape and a snug fit. This casserole is oven-safe to 450 degrees F and comes with a 10-year warranty. Simply Calphalon Hard 4 QT. August 20, 2008
I have used this pan for several months now and it is the perfect size for side dishes, soups and stews. I have even used it on the gas grill outdoors. Short handles on the sides make it very easy to move around and carry. I do like the stainless steel lid. It reminds me that it has a non-stick interior, unlike my other Calphalon Commercial grade hard anodized cooking vessels which I use daily. This four quart is also good to make home made fudge, puddings and frostings. Clean up is a BREEZE.

Great pan! It's between a skillet and a sauce pan. I find I reach for it more often because it'd bigger then the regular sauce pan. Great for those frozen bag dinners, doesn't overflow like the skillet

This IS my new favorite pot!! The one that never really makes it back into the cupbord. perfectly sized, great even heat conduction, easy clean up. I will probably buy another one!!

This pan is perfectly sized for me. The Calphalon One Non-stick 10-inch everyday pan is great- but a little shallow. This pan is the same diameter but is deeper. On the downside, it is not nearly as well constructed as its cousin in the Calphalon One line. But it works for me.... BTW- this pan is offered as a premium with a minimum purchase from the Calphalon line.

Great cookware, easy to clean; easy to cook, use very less oil, no scratches when used with wooden spatulas.........wonderful cookware...great buy!
