 Cant tell size from the description July 4, 2008
While this pattern is appealing, there is no way to know from the photo or from the written description that the sugar bowl is truly mini. More like doll house size. It fills with a scant three tablespoons of sugar.
Likewise the fruit bowls might hold three grapes apiece!
Why should this be surprise to the purchaser?

This item was received well packaged. I was truly surprised by the quality. It's a petite beautiful piece made in Italy. For this incredible price, you can't go wrong.
