Amazon.com Review
Like her dynamic cutlery, Rachael Ray cookware first enchants the eye before you even realize how well you can cook with it. The handsome charcoal-gray, hard-anodized pots and pans feature shiny stainless-steel handles wrapped with neon-orange silicone grips that practically glow with the kinetic energy of this celebrity chef. It'll come as no surprise that orange is Ray's favorite color. A smile is practically guaranteed each time you pull one of these pans out of the cupboard or see them hanging by your stove. As for cooking, hard-anodized aluminum heats quickly and evenly, resists scratching, and is incredibly durable. The interior nonstick finish allows food to slide right off.

You're good to go with this 10-piece set of commonly-used cookware. Included are 1-1/2- and 3-quart covered saucepans; 8- and 10-inch open French skillets; a 6-quart covered stockpot for big batches of pasta and chili; and a 3-quart/10-inch covered saute pan. The glass lids let you monitor cooking without losing steam or nutrients, and feature stainless-steel rims and handle with those same neon-orange silicone grips. Every piece is oven-safe to 400 degrees F, so you can start a dish on the stovetop and finish it with a hot bake-through. For the best care, washing the nonstick cookware by hand is recommended. An excellent gift, the set is covered by a lifetime limited warranty against defects. --Ann Bieri

5 out of 5 stars I love this set!!!   December 2, 2008
I got this cookware set as an early Christmas gift to replace a really cheap set (but functional) from a few Christmases ago. I am very happy with this set and the great deal I got on it. I went back and forth between lots of hard anodized sets but settled on this set because of the handles. I love how you don't have to use a hot pad on the handles! They are not as heavy as I thought they would be but they cook very evenly and are easy to work with. To keep them from getting scratched up I got some Pampered Chef cookware protectors and they work great. The only thing I don't like is that I can't seem to find individual pieces to add to my set that match. There is a small saucepan but that is the only piece I could find. Overall, this a great set for a great price. Kohls had it on Black Friday for $169 and Amazon had it for $139 with free shipping. I wish I had this set a long time ago and hope that it will last for several years.

5 out of 5 stars Love it!   November 29, 2008
We bought this set a few weeks ago and I just love them. They are easy to use, great to cook in and VERY easy to clean up! They have a nice weight to them and the handles are great. They look cute in my kitchen to boot!

4 out of 5 stars Best Price Anywhere   November 19, 2008
This is a gift for my daughter who has a few of Ray's pans and loves them, begged me for the set for Christmas. The only thing neither of us like is the 'signature color orange handles). I really priced these every where and this was the best bottom line price plus free shipping and no tax.

1 out of 5 stars They work... But are not of a great quality   November 18, 2008

One of the most important things you have to deal with when buying pots and pans is quality. I've used the Rachael Ray sets before, and I've got to be honest, they're not so good. The pieces are incredibly light, which, if you cook very much, you'll know is not a good thing. The thinness of the pots and pans unfortunately supports uneven heat. The price may appear nice as well, but it's just another sign you should steer clear of these.
If you're looking for a nice set of cookware, go down to your local Linens-N-Things (many of them are closing down, so you can get a great deal on them), pick up some of the Rachael Ray pots and pans on display, then lift up some Emerilware equipment. Those are truly the best (still affordable for most) sets of cookware I've ever had. They have a nice thick bottom that supports even heat distribution, and they're very durable.

Overall, the Rachael Ray cookware set isn't worth it when you can get a much higher quality, longer-lasting set for just a bit more money.

5 out of 5 stars AWESOME PRODUCT!   November 17, 2008
I would recommend this product to everyone! The cookware cleans easily and you definitely get what you pay for.
