4 out of 5 stars Mother's Day Gift   June 13, 2008
I gave this set of deep red pots and pans to my 92-year old mother for Mother's Day and she just loves them -- loves the color, loves how light they are to handle, and loves how they cook. Now, if all the covers fit the frying pans, they would be perfect.

3 out of 5 stars Nice set for the money but   June 4, 2008

This set has a good color and cooks well but the handles are small and cheaply made. Over all we are happy with our purchase.

4 out of 5 stars Good set for less money!!   April 6, 2008
I got a 50.00 amazon.com gift card. I needed pots and pans badly, so I bought this set and only paid 2 cents out of my own pocket. I actually REALLY enjoy them. If you want a less than expensive set of pots and pans, these are perfect!! ONLY downfall is not all the pans have lids. BUT, overall, I greatly enjoy them, AND the color is a plus.

4 out of 5 stars Good value for the money   September 20, 2007

We've had a set like this (but in blue) for about four years, purchased for $60 in Target. While it is a good value for money and we used this set exclusively for three years, it has some weaknesses:
(a) Too light and easily deformed. The large pot fell to the floor and the lid would not fit anymore.
(b) The lids do not fit the frying pans, which is really odd

However, the handles and the Teflon coating are still holding after four years and for the value-conscious or young, this is a good first set to buy. Later on you can move on to Calaphon hard-anodized and then to Le Creuset if you get into gourmet cooking.

3 out of 5 stars Nice pans - but lids do not fit fry pans   February 2, 2007

These are nice nonstick pans. I bought them after reading other reviews also. One thing I would note for others though the lids ONLY fit the pans they are pictured on. When I have previously purchased a set like this the large lid always fit both the soup pot and large frying pan - that is not the case here. None of the lids fit any of the frying pans.
