Amazon.com Review
From Cuisinart's Chef's Classic series comes this handsome, durable cookware with triple-layer construction. The exterior is hard-anodized aluminum, which is even stronger than stainless steel, with an encapsulated pure aluminum core for quick, even heating. The interiors of the pots and pans feature Cuisinart's Quantanium nonstick finish, a high-quality, long-lasting finish internally reinforced with titanium. Little oil or butter is needed when cooking on this ultra-smooth surface, and low to medium heat is recommended, along with non-metal utensils. All the lids are break-resistant glass, and handles are pure stainless steel, riveted for strength. Every piece is oven-safe to 500 degrees F.

Cuisinart puts together all the most commonly used pots and pans in this gift-worthy 12-piece set. Three covered saucepans hold 1-1/2, 2, and 3 quarts, perfect for those everyday tasks such as warming soup, cooking rice, or steaming vegetables. The 8- and 10-inch skillets slide out perfect French toast and pancakes, not to mention eggs over easy with bacon. Use the wide 3-1/2-quart covered saute pan for frying chicken or braising beef, and the covered 8-quart stockpot for big batches of pasta, chili, and hearty soups. Cleanup is easy, just a quick wash by hand takes care of any food residue. Hard-anodized cookware is best kept out of the dishwasher. Cuisinart covers the cookware set with a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects. --Ann Bieri

4 out of 5 stars Fantastic!!!   November 17, 2008
I love these pans!! I am a newlywed, and we got these pans for our wedding. They have made my life sooo much easier, because they are just so great. Nothing sticks to these, even real messy stuff-you could practically just wipe them with a paper towel and they would look perfectly clean-for real. The reason I only gave them 4 stars (I would have given them 4 1/2 but u can't) is really because I wish I had gotten ones with oven proof handles. I use them on the stove top and then pop them in the oven a lot. Other than that, they are an amazing buy for the price.

4 out of 5 stars Great For A Single Guy   November 16, 2008
I'm a single guy recently graduated from college. This is my first real set of cookware, and I am very happy with the purchase. I cook a few times a week, and this set provides everything I need. I hand wash these pans because I want them to get as much mileage as possible.

I rated this set four stars because I am very satisfied with the quality for the price. I am reluctant to use metal utensils with this cookware because I already see a few slight scratches. However, I think this is a durable set that will last several years. The handles stay relatively cool in high heat situations, and the overall presentation is great. Recommended if you are looking for an affordable set of cookware for a regular use household.

4 out of 5 stars Like these pots and pans very much   November 16, 2008
Good pots and pans, unfortunatly my large pot in this set has been either bent or warped and the lid does not fit on it anymore tightly. Cooks just fine without the lid but I wish it was not out of shape. Cannot recall anyone in the house dropping the pot so not sure what happened to it.

Otherwise very nice, easy to clean, non-stick surface is really non-stick.

4 out of 5 stars Decent for the Price   November 16, 2008
Right out of the box, I realized that the pans were smaller than I had imagined. It turns out that was perfect for us because the stove in our apartment is very small. So, this is definitely recommended for small stove users.

The nonstick shows wear, even when you just use a metal spoon to stir the pudding. It's not terrible and it doesn't seem to affect the non-stick quality. The weight of the pans is easy to carry, though I miss the weight of my stainless with the copper bottom. The evenness of the heating seems fine. And they look cool hanging in my kitchen.

I just can't say FABULOUS but for no particular reason. I got a great deal and they're very usable. Plus, I chose free shipping and still got them in two days, which is amazing.

5 out of 5 stars awesome   October 30, 2008
These pot are the totally awesome. I'm not the greatest cook ever but it is hobby for me. These pot are so easy to clean and cook with. I accicentally left one on the stove on low with some chilli in it and of course it cooked onto the pot, all I had to do was soak it in warm water with some soap for about 5 to 10 minutes and when I dumped the water out the chilli came with it NO SCRUBBING! These where totally worth the money.
