Great gift for the cook! December 1, 2008
I just got this knife set and I absolutely loved it! I'm going to get a set for my mom too. The knifes are very sharp. I like the smallest knife the best. FYI: If you are a member of Sam's Club they are cheaper there $21 for the set.
Great Knife Set July 30, 2008
I bought this set about 6 month's ago. My expectation wasn't very high and I thought I would have to sharpen the knives to get them to be as sharp as they should be. To my surprise, they came very sharp and they hold their edge for quite a while. My wife, who questioned the purchase, now uses these knives almost exclusively. If you're familiar with Santoku knives and would like to have a nice eveyday set to use, these are hard to beat especially for the price. I have a nice MAC Santoku that cost a lot more, but I rarely use it cause this set works so well for most of my needs.
