This flatware set is beautiful and has a solid, balanced feel to it. The set includes 12 place settings, a 5 piece serving set, and a handsome wooden drawer caddy. I purchased the set for everyday use but it looks better than my ornate special occasion flatware. This set is very sturdy and still looks new despite weeks of abuse by my family and the dishwasher. We use the soup spoon as an ice cream scoop because it is so strong. Considering the quality and the amount of pieces of the flatware, this set is a bargain.
