I bought this 12" Circulon Elite deep skillet with lid and it's an absolute dream to use. One can cook an entire meal in it such as a stir fry and yet use it for a minimum number of pancakes. It cleans easily. The soft,no- heat, handles on the skillet and lid make them easy to maneuver on the stove top as well as providing a non-slip surface in case grease is splashed on them. These last features are particularly useful for senior citizens who often have cooking utensil grips slip through their fingers. I recommend using only non-stick pancake turners, spoons, etc., so as not to mar the non-stick surface. A flexible bottomed turner is especially useful and again many have sure-grip soft handles.
Great multi-purpose skillet May 14, 2007 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This deep 12 inch skillet has the best non-stick properties of any of the high end cookware that I have ever had. Clean up is as much of a breeze as cooking even with eggs. Seems to heat quickly/evenly and is great for larger meals. I can say it is my favorite skillet ever.
Circulon Elite 12-inch Nonstick Hard-Anodized Deep Skillet with Glass Cover May 14, 2007 I love the size and deepness of this skillet along with the glass cover that allows you see inside while cooking.
Lid is in question April 2, 2007 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
I like the pan and its really non stick. The design of the lid could be better. The problem, albit it be small , is when cooking the water will condense and when you pick it up, the water will run into the lids rim and then when you tip the lid to set down, the water in the rim will run out on floor or counter..unless your very careful to tip the lid up over the pan.. in other words the lid needs to be redesigned. I guess the designer never cooked with the lid..least the price was right..
