When I ordered this item in February it was titled "Calphalon Simply Hard Anodized 3-Quart Chef's Skillet", which led me to believe that it was NOT a non-stick pan. I like Calphlon, but prefer to buy the hard anodized to the non-stick. I returned the pan for a replacement, thinking that Amazon had made a mistake. The non-stick replacement pan was also returned. Beware the descriptions - they're not always accurate.

Hi,
This product did not mention about the non stick interior surface. It just said Hard Anodised. This product when delivered to our house did not have the original Calphalon packaging. It was packed in a white box with one shabby Calphalon booklet inside . It was hard to tell if the product was new or used.
All n all, a bad buy.

This is the best skillet we have ever used for high heat usage. It conducts heat evenly in all areas, is heavy, substantal fry pan (similar to cast iron) without the downside rusting, sticking etc. Even though it is not advertised as non-stick, we have had no problem with sticking, without the problems of tefelon scratching and flakes coming off the surface during high heat use. We plan to replace other pans with Calphalon in the future if this one continues to provide the service indicated. Review based on 1 month of hard usage.

what I like most about it is that I am able to use very little oil for sauteing, and I can use it in the oven for making steaks!

This is another of the WONDERFUL items on Amazon.com's "Friday Sale"!!
I feel so blessed to make it to every Friday, just so I can buy something that is WAY on sale!!!!
