 Softest towel January 25, 2008
I ordered several towels from Amazon but the Pinzon bamboo cotton bathe towel (ecru color)is the best. The softest towel I've ever used.
Wished I would of bought all Pinzon bamboo towels.

I heard about these towels and wanted to try them for myself. I have to admit; I was a bit hesitant, but after reading all the ratings, I decided to order (1) to give it a try. I received my towel (palm) in about 1 week, and let me tell you...it's the softest towel I've ever tried. You have to wash it first or else you'll end up with lint all over your body; but after I found that out for myself, I am totally pleased. You can use this towel as a blanket, that's how soft and comfortable it is. AMAZING!!!
I made everyone in my family feel it, and they all had the same reaction...now they all want their own.
If I had to say anything somewhat negative, I would say that you almost can't dry yourself off, because of the soft silky texture. This towel is very absorbant. Who would have thought that bamboo could be so soft and cashmere like?! Give it a try.

I love this towel!! I purchased some for my family for Christmas and everyone is in love with them! It is definately one of the softest towels we have ever owned. I plan on buying more.

First and foremost, we LOVE these towels so far. They arrived the other day and when I got home my wife was already raving about them (and she hadn't even washed them). They were silky soft, plush , thick and heavy. These were nicer than any towel we had previously purchased.
We have since washed them and begun to use them. We followed the cold wash directions and had no issues. Not even any pilling. The towels appear to be extremely well made. They are just as silky soft and boy are they ABSORBENT! They wicked the water off extremely quickly. I was surprised they didn't feel very wet afterward either.
We purchased the PALM color (and relied on the individual towel picture and color palette rather than the picture of all the towels together). The towels match the MOSSY green color of the palette (not the lighter group picture) as well as the deeper green individual towel photo of the 4 choices you can view for that color in the palette. It was the exact color we were looking to get. So much out there is minty color.
From our standpoint we see no care issues (follow the instructions) and we are willing to dry them on low if that is what it takes to avoid damage. For the person who commented on the time to dry on low, make sure your dryer vent is clean as well as the machine. Lint in there can be a major time issue as well as a safety hazard.
These are not thin, light towels. They are substantive and HEAVY. The bath sheet is about 3 POUNDS! My wife is already asking for more in other color(s) for other bathrooms in the house. I can't disagree with her. They are terrific from what we have seen so far.

Ultra soft and very absorbent. I bought 8 to replace my old tattered towels and I am very happy with my decision. Best towels my husband and I have ever used. Bonus- NOT made in China (like everything else it seems) these exotic bamboo towels are made in Turkey :)
