2 out of 5 stars Buyer Beware!   January 15, 2008

I'm giving these bath sheets two stars because they quite large and extremely soft, which is excellent, but threads started pulling out of mine almost immediately after I bought them, and I haven't even washed them yet. I suspect that these towels will not weather well through normal usage, which is a major bummer, since I am all about giant bamboo fiber towels. I wish I could give these towels a higher rating, but I feel like shoddy construction is a pretty major product defect!

5 out of 5 stars THE BEST TOWELS   January 15, 2008
THIS ARE THE MOST LUXURIOUS AND SOFTEST TOWELS ON THE MARKET. THE MORE YOU WASH THEM, THE SOFTER THEY FEEL. I WAS SO PLEASED I BOUGHT THEM FOR ALL MY BATHROOMS....EXCEPTIONAL!

Pinzon Bamboo Cotton Bath Towel

NOTICE: The palm green towels are not a (pretty) green as shown in the zoom pictures but are an (ugly) avocado color. The ( ) are our opinions.

4 out of 5 stars Softest Towels   January 13, 2008

Bought ginger bath towels and hand towels. Color has more brown in it than in online picture. These are great towels - extremely silky, soft to the touch. One towel had a small snag in it, but nothing major. After washing and drying, I couldn't wait to try them out.
To say they are extremely absorbent is an understatement. I don't know how exactly they pick up so much moisture, but I can feel the towel grabbing at my wet skin picking up the water. It's very hard to describe, but I can definitely feel the material taking in the moisture. It's not unpleasant, just kind of odd feeling. One pass of the towel over an arm or a leg and it dries immediately.
The only negative thing I could say (besides the color issue) is the towels are very heavy and not good to wrap wet hair. The towel moves around and with all the weight pulls at the scalp. Ouch! I'll stick to my Aquis micro-fiber towel for that job.
All in all a good bargain. I will be buying more towels for my other bathrooms. Another great buy from Amazon.

4 out of 5 stars Pure luxury, but one problem   January 12, 2008

I have been looking for Bamboo towels for about a year. When I found them reasonably priced on Amazon I jumped at the chance to buy them.
They are gourgous and the palm and white go perfectly in my nuetral decor.
The one problem I have though, they don't seem to dry completely. After using them one day and hanging up, they are still damp the next day!
Kind of a bummer, maybe when the warmer months come they will air dry quicker. They also seem to take forever in my dryer to dry.
