Wonderful Towels!!! April 24, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These towels are so incredibly soft and luxurious, I was sure they would not absorb, like when you use liquid fabric softener. But I was wrong, the water just disappears from your skin. I first used the hand towel after washing my face and I just patted it on my face and my face felt almost instantly dry. The regular bath size towel is the perfect size. I always wash in cold for electricity bill and environmental concerns, so I don't mind that the instructions say to wash in cold. So far I love these towels!
Addressing "concerns" about this towel.... April 10, 2008 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
I agree with all those who love these towels! They are soft and silky. After the first wash they felt a little weird when drying, hard to explain, but they get better with each wash. Since most reviewers are thrilled with the quality and feel, I am going to address my experience about some of the "concerns".
First, I purchased the white bath size towels. They seem more of a cream than a white so maybe I got the wrong color. I have not had any shedding or pilling with these towels, even after the first wash. After use, my towels have always been dry by the next day.
My biggest concern was the surprise info when the towels arrived that they needed to be washed with cold water, and dried on low. If I can't wash my towels in hot water and dry with heat, I don't want them. So I decided to do it anyway to see what would happen in the event I wanted to order more. I have washed my towels 4 times now, all with HOT water, and dried on regular. I have NOT noticed ANY problems. The towels are still super soft and if they shrank it was too minimal to notice. Since I've used regular drying heat, my towels have dried in one cycle.
I don't know how a "hot" wash will effect the colored towels, but I'm ordering a set and about to find out. Maybe my disregard for the care instructions will come back to bite me later (will they wear out faster?), but at this point I'm expecting them to last a nice, long time.
I agree, they don't stay wrapped around hair, or around a body. But they're too luxurious for me to care.
I also have bamboo/cotton dishtowels with instructions to wash in cold, dry on low and not to use chlorine bleach. My dishtowels MUST be bleachable and washable in HOT water! I have been doing this with these dishtowels for several months with no obvious problems. (Maybe this will destroy the natural antibacterial feature of the bamboo?)
HOPE THIS HELPS!!!

Thesea are fantastic!! so soft and cuddly. however, my husband does not like them since they are so thick.
Easy to take care of and have remained very soft after 4 washings
heavy, large March 10, 2008 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
I wasn't able to find exact dimensions for this towel when ordering and they turned out to be quite large, like a beach towel. Since they are so thick and luxurious, they are much too heavy for me. They are nice and soft though and although they don't feel like they're absorbent, they do a good job.
Beautiful, soft towels March 6, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
These towels are very very soft and feel wonderful against your skin. The colors are beautiful and do not fade. If you are a woman you will probably love them as I do, but if you are a man you may not like them. My husband says they are not absorbent enough for him and he thinks they are too girly feeling and prefers other thicker, more absorbent towels. If you have sensitive skin and don't like the rough feeling of some towels, you will love these. For women, I suggest you make a set of these your personal towels.
