We bought 3 of these and 3 similarly priced Tommy Hilfiger to compare. These are very nice and will last a long time, but the Hilfigers had a deeper, richer color, and were quite a bit softer. Not sure if the Hilfigers will last as long.

this set of towels and wash cloths were for our daughter for Christmas. We have not opened them as we do not have the bath towels yet and if they do not arrive we will be returning what little we did receive. I am disappointed that we received none of the towel set in time to give her her gift on Christmas and that she still does not have her complete gift. If I could find this color locally we would just return the whole thing and start over... maybe by February when she has her birthday she will get her Christmas gift. I am disappointed in the lack of service I have received from Amazon (where I did the bulk of my Christmas shopping this past year)

These are terrific towels. I bought four complete sets for my parents as an early Christmas present as they were expecting a houseful of guests. They received so many compliments on the towels - how thick and soft they were.
The only drawback - when washed the first two times, the towels caused a flood in the laundry room as they over-loaded the lint filter on my mom's washing machine. I suggest washing very small loads the first few washings.

I bought the expresso bath towel and hand towel. When I opened the box from Amazon I could agree with previous reviewers that these were the softest and one of the heaviest towels I had ever held. After taking a shower and drying off I can add that they absorb water better than any towel I have ever used. Here is the BUT: they are not color fast as I use benzoyl peroxide on my face and I use one of these towels to dry it off with. After about a week, the expresso color had streaks of bleaching like I had thrown bleach on the towel and let it run down. But I love the towels otherwise so I bought a pair of ecru color and so far I have had no color problems. I can highly recommend these towels to anyone and I give them five stars but beware if you wear make-up and/or medicine on your face.

I can not believe I waited until I was 37 to find towels this perfect. I'm going to take a shower right now so that I can dry off with this wonderfully thick,soft and absorbent towel. Bamboo Rocks!
