5 out of 5 stars Great Value!!!   May 3, 2008
This set is amazingly complete for the price. The pans heat very fast and wash clean, even if left in the sink for a day (not like anyone does that or anything . . .) The only complaint is that the pasta colander is a bit flimsy, but at this price, it could be tin foil, as it is essentially a freebee. I highly recommend this set.

2 out of 5 stars I am really disappointed   April 13, 2008

I did a lot of research before buying a new set of cookware. I read tons of reviews and this one seemed to be the best. Not only were there good reviews but there seemed to be great features and shapes/sizes of pots & pans too. I even bought some additional separate pieces at a much higher price. Too bad for me.
My biggest issue is that the handles are very hard to hold. They are too slender and have a concave shape so that one cannot grip them easily and comfortably. This is especially problematic with the skillets or larger saucepans (bought separately). Secondly, they get VERY hot, very fast and things burn in seconds. They seem rather lightweight. I would prefer a heavier bottom. I think this add to the heating/burning issue. They seems to scratch easily even though I have been very careful with them. The non-stick feature is good and they are easy to clean. Lastly, the covered Saute Pan is too small. For me it is a waste. The saucepans are very shallow to the point of being almost unuseable for me.
Think twice before buying this cookware.

4 out of 5 stars Beautifully made - great value!   March 31, 2008
Great balance and quality craftsmanship. The number of items in this set is also astounding. I don't know why it took me so long to toss my very old and sad looking Calphalon and upgrade to something so nice. I'm very happy with this purchase!

5 out of 5 stars Everyone should own this set   March 1, 2008
Perfect heat distribution. A lid for EVERYTHING. Some sets have lids that one will fit several pots and pans together, so they only give you one. This one has a lid for all ten items. A very sturdy set.

5 out of 5 stars The August 2005 version of this set STILL GOING STRONG!   March 1, 2008

Purchased the version of this set offered in 8/05 and, after 2 years, everything is in very, very good working order - scratch resistant, stain resistant, absolutely still 100% non-stick. I would definitely invest in a Cuisinart set esp. at Amazon prices (keep tabs, they occasionally are very low for the whole set). Hope this helps. In conclusion, 2.5yrs of abuse in my kitchen and Cuisinart still rocks.
