5 out of 5 stars Magic?   December 26, 2007
Okay, so it isn't magic. It is a loose-weave, fiberglass mat encased in silicone. But it might as well be. I use this every time I make cookies, instead of parchment (which I thought was great when I first discovered it). I use it for crab cakes too.

Absolutely fantastic for anything that is delicate, sticky, and is baked. I'd buy another one, except the one I have is over a year old and shows no sign of wear.

Highly recommended!

It workes perfectly and easy to clean. The cookies don't slide off like on a baking sheet. But are easly removed.

5 out of 5 stars Magical Mat   December 21, 2007
This mat isn't as thin as it looks in the photo. Feels sturdy when you heft it and is thick enough that when you roll it to store in a drawer, its own weight keeps it loosely rolled without need for binders. As for its ability as a pan liner, wow! Although it feels slightly tacky to the touch, those cookies really do slide right off when you take them out of the oven. They also bake up beautifully without burning their bottoms. The mat is easily wiped clean. I just keep it on the cookie sheet, which I've tipped into the sink, and sponge off both sides with soapy warm water and a rinse. The mat air dries easily when set on one edge in the dish rack. Yes, it's heavy enough to stand on its edge with just a casual cee-shaped curve for balance. For me, it was definitely worth the cost.

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful!   December 13, 2007
I will be using this all weekend to make Gingerbread Cookies, Sugar Cookies, Butter Cookes, Thumbprint Cookies, Peanut Butter Blossoms, Lime Meltaways and Reindeer Poop!

5 out of 5 stars Great product!   December 13, 2007
This is so worth the money. I bought 2 of these a few years ago and we use them every time the cookie sheet goes in the oven. Nothing sticks to these, and we do a lot of baking. I plan on buying more. It would make a great gift for any baker you know.
