  I'm a believer November 15, 2002 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
What I hate most about cooking and baking is the cleaning up. With the exopat, you'll say goodbye to scrubbing crusty pans and cookie sheets. If your cookies still stick on exopat, you must be doing something wrong.
a definate must have November 15, 2002 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is one of the greatest inventions for baking!!! I have this and another brand and they are great. Nothing sticks to it and easy to clean. No fuss no muss no bother! The cookies do tend to bake a bit faster so keep an eye on the time. Only draw back the first few times of use there is an oder but, after a few uses it will subside. ... Anything to make baking a little more simpler . And as an avid and frequent baker this exopat is a real dream come true. Fantastic price on this also ! They are quite a bit more in the stores. I am buying more for gifts to the bakers in the familey so they can have it as easy when they bake their cookies.
This really is a good thing November 14, 2002 20 out of 20 found this review helpful
I admit it, I watched Martha Stewart's cooking show, and she had a similar product called Silpat, also made in France. She called it a "good thing." I do not take Martha's word for everything, but when she used it the mat looked great. So, when this Exopat mat came up on the site as a deal, I bought one. The day after I received it, I used it to bake dozen after dozen of chocolate chip cookies for my co-workers, and it performed beautifully! The mat is absolutely nonstick, heats and cools very quickly, and does not appreciably change the baking time for my cookies. The mat cleans up *very* easily, even if you leave it sit overnight on the counter. (sheepish grin) I liked it so well that I bought another! I would buy more, but I only need two. This product is like "permanent foil" in my opinion, and really does the job it was made for. If I ever needed to, I'd buy another in a second.
Sizes were wrong, but great product! November 10, 2002 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
The product listed as 16 1/2 x 11 5/8, but I recieved 18 x 13 mats. Sort of a double edged sword as the larger mats mean I got a slightly better deal than already outstanding price advertized, however, as a result I had to purchase larger "commercial" sized jelly roll pans (difficult to find 18 x 13 cookie sheets). I'd recommend these to anyone who's sick of tracking down parchment paper, or wants a great buy on a great nonstick baking mat. They list as being effective from -40F to +560F and reusable 3000 times, so you can use them in the freezer, to bake roasts on, cookies...about everything.
a copy that isn't as good November 9, 2002 15 out of 25 found this review helpful
I bought this product thinking it was as good as a Silpat. NOT!! It did not do the job! not only did it stick but it broke my cookies! UG! next time I will just buy the silpat!
