5 out of 5 stars A must have for cookie bakers   December 30, 2001

I got one of these as a gift and christened it by making apricot walnut rugelach. I was able to lift the rugelach off the mat without even using a spatula. I burned the last batch (left it in the oven for 45 minutes) and the sticky mess still lifted right off the mat. It also makes clean up easy. The mat fits into the sink much better than a cookie sheet. I've decided that I need a second one.

I received one from my mom who has tried every kitchen gadget around. I was skeptical at first. Now, I don't put anything in the oven without it. It goes under pies, cookies, pot pies, or anything that might stick or run over. I am waiting for them to make liners for loaf pans, cake pans, etc. Because of this, I have tried recipes that I might have found too messy or troublesome. You can't miss with this one, and they last a long time. A great gift for the baker in your life.

I'm a make-do cook. When I saw a well-known personality touting this stuff on her TV show, I just poh-poohed the notion. Then, at a pre-Christmas sale, I decided to try a sheet. Whoa! What a wonder! I promptly bought a second sheet, and I would never try to bake cookies again without one. The savings in time (1-2 min per sheet), headaches (cutting parchment to size every time and then running out), and clean-up (nothing - I say again NOTHING - sticks to this stuff) make it worth every penny!

Cookies literally slide right off -- no more broken cookies, no scrubbing cookie sheets, not even any greasing cookie sheets. It's wonderful!

The texture of the mat makes it feel greasy, although it isn't. After you clean it, don't let the slickness make you think you have to wash it again. My cookies haven't picked up any funny taste or anything, so I give this little jewel top marks.

No oil, no paper, no nothing.
This is an excellent product. I first saw it on a TV show and made a comment on it. Lucky for me, my sister heard it, and as my birthday was coming up she gave it to me as a present.
It's amazing. Just put the cookie dough on the mat and into an oven tray ... Wait a minute or two ... Ready, no oil , butter, or lining paper needed.
It's a MUST for cookie bakers.
