2 out of 5 stars Electric stove? Try this other griddle model.   July 9, 2006

For those who have electric stoves, check out the Dbl Burner Reversible Grill/Griddle, item 3535, also available on this website. It is from the same company and can be used on high heat over electric burners. I have had mine for over 8 years and love it. It is easy to clean up.

5 out of 5 stars First steak came out great!   June 19, 2006

Just tried out the new griddle. It's awesome! I made two juicy sirloin steaks on it. They did not stick and did not burn. Came out perfectly medium rare. The clean up was very easy. This is my first griddle; I'm glad I chose this one.

2 out of 5 stars not great for electric   June 18, 2006

I bought this hoping to wow my family with some 30 minute meals but this doesn't work great on my electric stove. If you leave it up too high for longer than a minute on the grill side the griddle coating burns off and stinks up the place. If you can't leave it up high you don't get good grill marks. I end up putting on high for a few minutes and then back down. Doesn't cook thick meat for chicken breast through well. You are better off finishing them in a real pan in the oven. The coating chips easily. I am thinking of going with cast iron as it is more work in the begining but I think it worth it in the long run.

This is a wonderful cooking piece. I've only used the Grill side so far. I cooked steaks and they turned out great. I would purchase this item again and give as a gift.

This is a great product that works for a myriad of dishes. We love to make anything from pancakes to grilled sandwiches. It grills steaks and chicken great as well. Be careful how you clean it, though. Other than that, I love it!
