Terrific Pan! April 1, 2007 I love this pan! Got mine about 3 weeks ago and it's quickly become my favorite. Nice big size, super easy clean-up and heats evenly. Great for searing meats, then finishing off in the oven with the lid on. I would've given it 5 stars if it weren't for the handles getting a bit hot on the stovetop. Aside from that, it gets two BIG thumbs up! Super everyday pan at a super value!
Good for the price March 27, 2007 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
So far I only used it once, it performs as I expected. First, the pan itself is very light, it doesn't have a thick bottom to hold the heat, so it won't be really good for browning the meat or for very fast high temperature stir frying. I think I'll just use it for frying the fish or cooking omelette kind of thing. It's very easy to clean though, especially comparing to my favored cast iron wok.
The other good thing is the glass lid, which is actually heavier than the pan. Big and very nice, now I use it on my wok.
On Top and In the Oven March 27, 2007 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I use this pan for just about everything... eggs, bacon, sausage, Fajitas etc. I also use it in the oven. I hate greasy meatloaf so instead of a meatloaf pan I used this pan.. WOW! In the oven for 45 plus minutes @375-400 degrees. No warping. The lid stayed snug the mealoaf was fully cooked but not dried out and best of all only the bottom of the meatloaf had any grease on it. It was very easy to remove the meatloaf from the pan as well. Cleanup is quick and easy soap, water, swish with a dishbrush or spong, dry Done! Worth a LOT more than I paid for it.
The Best all around pan March 20, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I was looking for a 12 in skillet with a cover, but none was available so I decided to purchase this pan instead. I love it. It does everything a skillet could do without the long handle. I would recommend this as a great subsitute for the skillet.I use it to fry, saute, and use in the oven.

I received this pan about two weeks ago and have used it almost every day since then! Even heat, nothing sticks to it, and cleanup is a breeze. You cannot go wrong with this pan!
