5 out of 5 stars great set!   September 20, 2007
I had this set for almost a year. Great quality, non-stick surface, easy to clean. I had an incident last night, which should illustrate how well-built the pots are:

I started boiling the potatoes at 11 pm, then fell asleep, and woke up at 5 am!!, and the whole apt was filled with smoke. The potatoes were burned to ashes, and the pot was still intact! No damage whatsoever. I think this was the ultimate test...

1 out of 5 stars Say 'NO' to Non-stick   July 12, 2007

I purchased this set in December of 2005. By the end of 2006 the "non-stick" coating had begun to chip off. I took extreme care with these pans, using only nylon tools and hand-washing them. I have since learned that non-stick coatings may be toxic. I have wondered for years if Teflon (or any non-stick coating) that flaked off into my food was toxic. Now there is increasing evidence that it is. So I threw out my KitchenAid set and am looking at purchasing a new set of stainless steel.

If I could give this product a -5, I would.

Live and learn...

5 out of 5 stars Nice Set   March 9, 2007

The price is great for this set. We've seen it advertised for 85.00 more! The only slight drawback with these pots is that the lids can't really be turned upside down to well for storage. But a really nice set of everyday cookware.
