Beautiful set and unbelievable price! Bought this in a department store and then returned it when I saw Amazon had it for 50% less. The pieces are heavy and beautiful. They take up a little more room than my old set in my buffet silverware compartments but they are great. I am very happy with this purchase.

I'm a bit overwhelmed by the weight of these pieces. A dinner fork or tablespoon weighs 2.5 ounces a piece! The other pieces are similarly hefty. That is a huge amount more than the Oneida flatware I am replacing--the same pieces of which weigh a mere 1.1 ounces each.
This set is visually elegant, but every time I grab a handful to set the table or pick one up to eat with I wonder if I'm ever going to get used to the sheer weight.
I imagine my grandmother would not enjoy using these at my home.
6 months later: Our family is now comfortable with the weight of the pieces, though my mother instantly noticed the heft when she came to visit and did not like it.

I agree with all of the positive comments here: heavy-weight, fits very comfortably in the hand, great wooden tray, holds up well in the dishwasher, nice design...It is frosted on the inside, which you don't see from the pictures, but not heavily so and is still nice-looking. Very good quality for the price!

I purchased this product in August and I love it. It's heavy weight and stands up to abuse. Beautifully designed.
