A few people have described the Satin Garnet as 'heavy' or 'oversized'! Not so!! It is: 'nicely weighted', 'full sized', 'not flimsy', 'solid', 'manly', 'impressive', 'unbreakable', 'strong', and 'commanding'!!!
As you may suspect, I think that Satin Garnet is GREAT!! Excellent quality and very attractive at a reasonable price!
Now if I could just figure out why each piece has a little basketball on the end of it!!
For those who do not appreciate the extra size and weight, I discovered that the Satin Garnet Desert Fork is the same size as the Dinner Fork in my old Oneida set! Give Grandma a Desert Fork at dinner, and she should do OK!

The flatware was as described. The pieces have a good feel to them - they are a nice weight for use. I like the caddy that the set comes in as well.

I really like this set- the wooden box is an extra plus and the set seems quite durable. It is the perfect weight in your hand. It is heavy but not too heavy. For the price I am very happy with the addition to my kitchen.

This is really beautiful flatware. It is heavy for use everyday and looks great. Great product at a good price! Excellent delivery.

This flatware set is beautiful enough for special occasions but practical enough for everyday family use. We wash it in a dishwasher with no special treatment and it comes out shining everytime. My family love the solid feel of the forks.
